I started my photography business back in 2008 at the age of 16. I grew up with a passion for animals, so when I discovered a knack for photography, it was the most natural thing in the world for me to point my camera at pets. After two years of photographing the pets of southwest Florida, I decided to start working with children, too. Pets and kids are so real and natural in front of the camera, and I love to document their wonderful personalities! It's the greatest job in the world!
Besides photography, I love watching old movies on Turner Classic Movie channel, listening to Frank Sinatra and Josh Groban, browsing all of the fantastic items on Etsy, eating too much chocolate, and reading old books. I'm owned by a 90 pound lap dog named Buddy, a pink-eared guinea pig named Walter, and a high-maintenance rabbit named Lucy.
In my free time, I regularly volunteer at the Humane Society of Sarasota County, photographing the adoptable dogs and cats for their website. If you're looking to add a pet to your family, make sure you visit your local shelter first! I'm also a member of HeARTs Speak, a community of artists dedicated to helping shelters and homeless animals.
Thanks for stopping by! I can't wait to photograph your awesome kids--whether they're of the furry or human variety.
