It seems I’ve been photographing a lot of sick doggies lately. These sessions are so bittersweet, but it is such a blessing to be able to capture images of these great pets so their owners can have photos to cherish and remember them by. Another one of these sessions was done back in November for Schautzie, a six year old Great Pyrenees diagnosed with bone cancer. We hung out in her backyard overlooking the water and walked over to the park across the street to hunt for squirrels and lay in the shade. While Schautzie is moving slower now, and her tumor is growing, she’s being very well taken care of by her parents and three doggy siblings. I’m so happy I got to meet this lovely girl!
