Patriotic Pet Parade 2010
Wednesday, July 7th, 2010Last Saturday marked the first of what hopes to be an annual Patriotic Pet Parade on Venice Island. People and their pets came dressed in their best red, white, and blue outfits for the walk down Venice Avenue. There were lots of dogs, but the most interesting pets had to be the cat and rabbit. Yes, a cat and a rabbit. They acted totally unfazed by the crowd of dogs, it was amazing. The parade ended at the gazebo, where winners were awarded in various categories, including Cutest Pet, Funniest Pet, Most Patriotic Pet, and Best in Show. I had a blast photographing it all! Next year will be even better!
