Elizabeth & Shasta | Venice dog photographer
Last week I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Elizabeth and Shasta, a pair of gorgeous senior dogs. Elizabeth is a spunky, tennis ball loving Golden Retriever; and Shasta is her older chocolate Lab sister, who only has eyes for her mama (and cookies). You would never guess that these two girls are nine and eleven years old – they are so exuberant and joyful. We had a great time at the beach, throwing tennis balls and playing in the waves. These girls haven’t lived in Florida for very long, but they have definitely become beach dogs.
Only a few days after our shoot, Elizabeth and Shasta left for Missouri. I hope they aren’t missing the sand and waves too much up there. I feel so blessed to have been able to meet and photograph these girls before they left. It was so much fun.
Enjoy the photos and have an amazing Thanksgiving!
The beautiful Miss Elizabeth, scanning the waves for her tennis ball.

Like my Buddy, Shasta isn’t a big fan of the water, but she made herself quite comfortable with the sand.

Love the next two shots. Beautiful sun flare and a happy Golden nose!

LOVE.

LOVE. Your colors and composition are top notch. If I had to pick a favorite from this series, I’d go with the B&W lens flare…or the little paw in the sand. <3
