I walked into the apartment and was directed to a small doggy bed in the living room. A little mop of brown and black fur greeted me. I honestly couldn’t tell which end was the head and which was the tail. Then, up goes a cute little head, belonging to Mr. Blazer, an adorable fifteen year old Yorkie mix. It was such a pleasure to photograph this old gentleman. We took pictures around the apartment, but his favorite place was his bed. It’s adorable how he burrows his little face into the corners of the bed to keep his nose warm. What a cute little old man! Other than his sleeping habits, you’d never guess that he is fifteen. His mom takes very good care of this little rescue and has given him a great life. Lucky guy. :)
Mr. Blazer’s mom, Christine, is the force behind TIFF, To Inform Families First. This program allows you to register your emergency contact information on your license or ID card. With this program, officers can immediately have your emergency contacts at their fingertips in critical situations. Hopefully with this program, no one will have to endure what Christine went through, when her daughter, Tiffany, was killed in a motorcycle accident and she wasn’t notified until six hours later. It was a hard story to hear, but Christine is strong and recognizes the good that God has brought about from her daughter’s passing. If you are a Florida resident, please go to TIFF and register. It’s quick and totally worth it.
