They brought along their adorable Chow mix and HSSC alumni, Diva, to participate, and I couldn’t have asked for a prettier model! She was super fluffy, had a great smile and cute ears, and loved being with her people. Since our session, Kelly, Tim, and Diva have welcomed a precious baby boy into their family–congratulations on your new addition! :)

It was a chilly morning, but we kept warm by taste testing the chili brought by the police and firemen. The police also gave a demonstration with the K-9 unit. All of the dogs in attendance were well-behaved and friendly, and we even brought Penny (dressed in her pink sweater, of course)! Thanks to all who came by to support the American Cancer Society with your pups!

One thing I do not specialize in is couples and weddings, but when a good friend gets engaged, well, I can’t resist!

I photographed Viki and Matt’s engagement portraits while they were on Christmas break in December. I love these two–they are perfect for one another! I remember when Viki first went off to college at Southeastern University, fully planning on staying out of a relationship and putting all of her focus on her education. When Viki met Matt, her roommates started making bets on how long it would take her to break that commitment. :) Sure enough, Matt swept her off her feet and now the two are making plans to tie the knot in May! I’m honored to be taking part in their big day as a bridesmaid, and can’t wait to watch these friends say “I do.” I love you guys!
