Molly & Mitzi | Venice dog photography

I cannot believe that Molly and Mitzi are 15 and 14 years old! Thanks to the amazing care of their mom, these two are as lively, happy, and healthy as dogs half their age. Molly is an adorable, scruffy-faced Terrier/Daschund mix, and Mitzi is a Terrier/American Eskimo mix with a sweet smile and cute tan ears. It was a privilege to get to meet these beautiful ladies and photograph them in their golden years.

Mitzi loves to make silly faces, I love to photograph them. :)

I just love their scruffy, terrier ears!

Lauren | Class of 2012

The past couple of weeks I’ve been able to work with some beautiful high school seniors, and I’m loving it! Lauren was referred by her best friend, Holly, whose blog post is coming soon. We met up at beautiful Venice beach and explored the area from Caspersen’s to the pier, all while trying not to get blown away by the wind. Lauren is so photogenic and has a gorgeous smile–I could have photographed her all day, but within an hour my memory card was full! Thanks for the awesome session, Lauren. Congratulations on surviving high school–now it’s time for FSU! Hopefully I’ll get to hear some of your songs. :)

Sara & Bella | Boca Grande dog photography

I had another awesome session on beautiful Boca Grande last month with Sara and her Golden Retriever, Bella. Sarah’s mom, Rebecca, won the session at Southeastern Guide Dogs’ big Walkathon event in March, and when she told me she wanted to have both her daughters, human and dog, photographed, I couldn’t have been more excited. There is nothing like the bond between a girl and her dog! Bella is one of the prettiest Goldens I’ve met, and she’s extremely well-behaved and obedient for a young dog of one and a half. Well, until we got out to the beach. Once Bella hit the water, there was nothing we could do to keep her out! I couldn’t stop smiling as I watched her swim around, completely content to be in the water. Buddy could definitely use a few lessons from Bella!

Who doesn’t love a happy Golden smile? :)

Once we managed to get Bella out of the water, it was time for ZOOMIES!!!

I’m totally in love with these photos of Sara with Bella. Such a sweet bond. This one will definitely need to be printed BIG!
